Best point and shoot

Although I have two DLSR'S I'm thinking
about a good prosumer camera. I'm
looking at the Fuji S9000 and the older
Nikon 8700 as well as a few more.
Any more suggestions?
I'd like one I could still hook up to
my strobes and is at 6MP or higher.

I enjoyed using the little dual lense Kodaks. No protruding lense to be bent, nice optical quality, and the v570 at only 5mp gave equal or better quality 5x7 prints than my buddy's 6.2mp (i think) digital Rebel when we were in NY in January. Plus it was just fine in cold weather atop the windy Empire State Building.
