8x10 film holders

Yes, you are the last MuseCuber on the planet with 8x10 film holders.

Most likely source: A photo studio that's been in business for 40 or 50 years. They likely haven't thrown away the ones they were using when they started.

Seriously, I only know about three people who use 8x10 at all. And they ain't parting with sheet film holders.

Just had an idea. When you can no longer get the 8x10 film, line up the holders on your mantel with photos in them instead of film. You can use the slides to prop them up. That would be a super-cool display.

Jack, using the slides creates a lovely miniature easel, perfect for many styles of decor.

Dave, the people who pay so much think the stuff isn't available at retail, or else they haven't a clue of the real value of stuff.

Sorry, Dave, but I have too many memories of long hours in a myriad of darkrooms. No more room in the brain for more memories like that.

Its just like models who want more than they are worth...

But I think I will keep my Liso 8 x 10 and 4 x 5 at least until Digital comes up to speed and larger format ...
