Nile River Sunset - This photo was taken of a Faluka (sailboat) at sunset on the Nile River, near Luxor, Egypt. The Nile is the world's longest river (4150 miles). The Nile River valley in Egypt was the site of the world's first great civilization. Beyond the row of palm trees in the background, is the famed Sahara Desert. (2006)
