Saquan Stimpson, Photographer originally from the Bronx, now Currently residing in Newark Delaware. While attending The High School Of Art and Design, I made up my mind to become an artist of some type - due to my knowing two teachers, who greatly influenced my decision - Ira Merit and Roy Biles. The funny thing is, I wasn't officially in Mr. Biles class, however I would stop in from time to time, so thank you for not kicking me out.
After graduating from college in 2001, I bought a Nikon Cool Pix 5000 Digital Camera, and started taking photos for fun, until a friend from Pennsylvania suggested that I take it more seriously. So a few years later, I got my hands on Mamiya 7II, which was used mainly use for Black and white shooting. I love what I do; I have images in my head that the people need to see.
Concerning Photography: I don't really like to interpret my style - I'd rather let the person interpret my work for themselves; however if I had to interpret my own style, I would say that my style is an Photo journalistic style. I shoot 95% of my shots using natural lighting and rarely do I use makeup. I'm not into creating fantasies - the world isn't a fantasy. The way you see it is the way that I "eye" saw it. Most of all my work you see in my portfolio is shot with a Canon EOS 20D.
Let's Talk about Equipment for a sec; My gear consist of a Canon EOS 20D and Canon EOS 10D, as for Lens i'm working with a Sigma 500MM, Tamron 19-by 35MM Wide Angle, Tamron 75-by 300-MM and 35-by 105 Macro lens Mac PowerBook G4, furthermore i have Tripods and Monopod.
My Photography is about respect. Respect for the craft, respect for history, respect for the integrity of your images. I don't like to follow fads, using the same gear and techniques as everyone else. The method is about crafting images that are as ageless as your bond, images that hold their power and emotion long after trends have come and gone.
I take the artisan's approach. Choose the best tools for the moment. Create something eternal. Be innovative. Stand on the shoulders of those that have come before; I blend in and avoid directing the action, capturing splendor and authenticity as they happen. I truly believe that there is beauty in the unscripted, that the truth of the moment is lost when the photographer intervenes.

Done in the comfort of your own home or outdoors; for $99.99 per hour, at minium of two hours. You will receive at least 150 shots on CD or DVD resized for both internet and prints use. Print and use all images as you please. (PLEASE IF YOU HAVE IDEAS, PLEASE SHARE THEM)

What style do you shoot in?
I tell stories with photographs. I find the beauty and meaning throughout your wedding day and make them into photographs. I focus on capturing the details, moments, and emotions that will best tell your wedding story. I stay unobtrusively in the background as much as possible because I am telling your story. How do I book you?
You will need to complete and sign a contract and pay me the non-refundable retainer fee. Bookings are done on a first-come first-served basis. Dates will not be held in any other manner.
Can you shoot formal portraits?
Yes. I would suggest minimizing the number of these so that you can enjoy the rest of your day with your family and friends.
Is there a limit to the number of pictures you take?
No. For 8 hours of coverage, I will present you with a minimum of 500 great photographs.
Do you do retouching?
Yes, any photograph can be retouched such as removing blemishes or distracting elements. This additional work may delay your receiving the final prints.
Do we get proofs?
All proofing is done online. There are no printed proofs.
Do we get the images on a CD?
Yes. You will receive a CD or DVD with high resolution files of all your pictures when you receive your completed album.
Do you mind our guests taking pictures?
Not at all. Those moments will further enhance your memories of the day.
Do you have backup equipment?
Yes. We have Camera, if not more, of every important piece of equipment (camera bodies, lenses, flash units, hard drives, etc.).
Do you travel?
Yes. We do travel, however, if we are not staying locally to the venue, we would deduct traveling time from the coverage time. Accommodation costs would be extra.
