Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder...
The picture of my Godchild Willem (longing and reaching for the cake with the one candle), taken on his first birthday, really grabs me, again and again everytime I see it. That doesn't mean though, it will have the same inpact on you...!
Nevertheless it is my hope that at least óne of all of you 'beholders' will indeed be captured, by at least óne of my pictures! If so, then my job is done, my reason for living as a photographer fulfilled :-)

My name is Michael (Michčl) Wehkamp, I am 46 and I have my own small company in printing and design. Photography has been a hobby though, since I was a kid (I started when I was 12/13 years old). And also in the line of my work I come accross photography all the time.
Last year I have changed my focus and started with model- and digital photography. It's really great to experiment with my new camera, and to interact and work and laugh with these beautiful models.
I feel priviliged :-)
And I see it as my job to accomplish that that feeling will be mutual...
