The new Nikon D3S has a native ISO up to 32,000 and extended ISO up beyond 100,000. Yikes.

As somebody said on a PC site, if the real usable ISO is only 3200, it's still far beyond what any other camera gives you.

The camera also has a much bigger buffer than older models, two card bays .... and the possibility of HD movies.

Who can keep up with all the latest technology?
Jene & I will have to see for ourselves at PDN's Photo Expo next week.
(Although we are Canon users)

Not to worry, Canon is scheduled to leap into the ISO wars, too.

As long as you can take the pictures you want to take, or need to take, your camera is not obsolete.
