Okay so I can cut off more smart a#$
remarks I use two DLSRS but I want
a good quality carry around camera
and the results I've seen from several
point and shoots like the Sony, Cannon
and Nikon look good. So if you something to add, please do but if its
more cracks from the peanut gallery keep 'em to youself.
If you want a carry-around camera, why not go for something really small, like the credit card-sized cameras from Nikon or Fuji? They aren't 10MP, but they're perfectly adequate for 90 percent of what you'd shoot.
The Sony, while small compared to a DSLR, is still bulky compared to most carry-around models.
I was reading about the Sony at dpreview, and they definitely like it.
I'm just wondering if the camera is gonna be too hot to hold, with that lithium battery. Heh heh... That was a joke.
Shadowscape I don't recall calling you a name. You made a point of telling me I should shoot with a DSLR. I replied that if you aren't going to give me what you think of the Sony R1
versus another camera in the point and shoot area why respond. Seems to me you went looking for a fight or to be a smart a$%. You also dug up past threads, well bravo I do start lots of threads and you're welcome to join or stay out. Again if you have a view
on a good point and shoot camera like
some of those who HAVE responded please say it but if its more of the same let me get him back or nasty remarks or your mama type comments just PM me so we don't have to have
our kiddie level remarks.
