MuseCube now offers Paypal integration, allowing you to sell images and related merchandise through your MuseCube portfolio.

To access this new feature, first configure your Paypal settings through the ecommerce link, found in the members section. This section also includes information on configuring shipping and tax settings.

Next, you can set up your items for sale through the Portfolio Management section. Under the “add / edit images” link, you will now see an additional button labeled "sell image" next to each thumbnail in your portfolio. Clicking on this allows you to set up sales items for each image.

You can set up multiple sales items per image, allowing you to sell images in different sizes, formats and delivery methods (prints, cd, download, etc). This is also an option to consider for people wishing to sell fan merchandise, and other related materials.

Once you have set up a sales item on your image, a "purchase" button will appear in your portfolio. This links to all of the sales items related to that image, and allows customers to purchase directly through your portfolio.

This feature is available to Plus Hosting, Pro and Pro Hosting members.

To implement this feature, a l large number of functions had to be modified on the site. Though we have tested the system thoroughly, if you experience any problems, please let us know.

More to come-
Once we have a sufficient number of people using this system, we will be expanding this feature to provide more exposure to those that are selling images through MuseCube, as well as developing additional functions related to this feature.

Lastly, we are looking at providing support for other merchant service providers in addition to Paypal. If you have suggestions regarding this, please send them to us.

Hi,
We have corrected a recent bug related to shipping charges on non-shippable items.

To ensure that items marked as "no shipping required" are not being charged shipping, you may need to adjust your shipping override setting in the paypal shipping configuration.
