I was born on July 1, 1974 in Detroit, MI where I was raised. My childhood consisted of many changes of venue within the private school setting in which I was involved in plays and dance performances as early as the third grade. This experience peaked my interest and love in the performing arts. At age 12 I started modeling in hair shows and went on to major in performing arts at Cass Technical High School. During my college days I modeled and coordinated fashion shows while attending Michigan State University where I earned a B.A. degree as a double major in Telecommunications (video/film emphasis) and Fine Arts with a dance specialization. I hosted and produced “Sexual Chocolate”, Michigan State University’s most popular video show. I then proceeded to New York to pursue modeling & promotional work. Currently I am a producer with NuBeginnings, the up and coming urban production company in Detroit, and a host at various soulful poetry and hip-hop settings. I teach creative movement and yoga to students of all ages. My goal is to create and produce images of myself through the performing arts.
