Amari Woods was born to a Moroccan/African mother, and an Ghanaian/Brazilian father. He has two sisters and two brothers. As a teenager, Amari was extremely focused on building an football career where he played 2 years in a Berlin League. He was accepted to Virgina University in Richmond, Virginia through a Football scholarship. However, a hip injury prevented him from pursuing this dream, after being discovered by W Scouts and modeling came into the picture, Amari moved to California where he attend UCLA. Modeling for many high-profile clothing lines such as Armani, Versace, Leonardo Cavalli and Marc Jacob. Currently in his modeling days, Amari discovered a love and passion for acting and is making a name for himself appearing in over 10 films.
