I've always had a talent for art as far back as I can remember. In High School, as time went by, I eventually used my talents to create art that didn't get me sent to the principals office. With the help of my high school art teacher and my mother’s guidance I was accepted into the Art Institute of Chicago. At the time my primary focus was on illustration, however, I did take several classes on photography.
As life took me on a detour from the arts professionally, I never gave up on art as a hobby. Recently I've taken an active interest in photography as my medium. With the advancement of digital photography and editing software, I thoroughly enjoy the instant gratification that digital photography can offer. To be able to instantly alter the color scheme or arrangement of the subject is very rewarding to me as an artist.
